At Pictorial Photography we can document a magical stage in your child’s life and create stunning, timeless portraits to decorate your home with as well as unique gifts to delight the grandparents.
Nothing says love like expectant mothers, new mums and dads with cooing cuddly newborns, bouncing baby bundles and wriggly little toddlers. Combining the beauty of family life with timeless, artistic photography from these special milestone moments at our purpose-designed studio at Berwick’s Ramparts.

How Do I Book?
Click the button below to book a call with me for a chat about what to wear, what to bring and to confirm I have a date and time available that would suit your family.
After you get in touch, I will send you the product and price guide for you to look through. If you decide to go ahead, I will send you a sequence of helpful emails and guided planning in the run-up to the session.
What Will we Wear?
For studio sessions, try to coordinate colours so they are complementary; simple is always best. Feel free to bring a change of clothing and any special items or favourite toys that you would like to include in the photographs.
For the simple white studio sessions, I recommend that everyone wears white or cream: for men, beige chinos or white/very light stonewashed jeans along with a linen shirt looks great; for ladies, a white/cream dress or a nice top with white jeans/leggings; and a little romper suit or dress for baby. We do have a few cute baby outfits for use in the studio but please check we have the right size for your little one.
Professional makeup and hairstyling are available on request. French manicures are advised for maternity and sessions where mum will be in the photographs.

15-30 portraits presented at your in-person or online ordering appointment at the studio 1-2 weeks after your session.
What Happens Afterwards?
Approximately one week after your photography session, you will be invited back to the studio for your View & Choose ordering appointment to look through your edited photographs and make a selection. You'll be able to see everything on a big screen for an easier viewing experience.
Framing and wall display examples can be viewed during the ordering session enabling you to see exactly how your photographs could look. I can assist you step-by-step in the selection process, ensuring that you have the right pictures, frames, and mounts for your home and décor.
Please Note: Ordering appointments usually last around an hour and are not much fun for small children. We recommend that you set aside your viewing as some quality 'me' time, either with or without your partner but preferably without the children. Trust us, they will thank you for it!
